I just ran across apartment therapy’s fourth annual contest to find the smallest, coolest apartment called Small Cool 2008. The requirements for being considered in the small category are that your home or apartment measure 850 square feet (79 square meters) or less.
I have just started looking through the list of entries and winners but am sure to spend a few hours at this site over the next few days. We can’t qualify for this contest as we are over 1,000 sf but I am very much looking forward to designing a few smaller homes in the next few years based on the 100K concept. This contest and others like it will certainly be motivation. Below is an image from the winner.
