My wife called this afternoon with some good news on the land for the 100K project. We have been waiting for months (our initial settlement date was Jan 15th) for the the seller to clear up some title issues that came up during our routine title search months ago. We spoke to the selling side today, and they said we should be ready to settle within a few short weeks. We have the building permits in hand so we will be able to break ground shortly after on the project.
I have not spoken about this subject much on the blog as it has gotten me down over the past months and the thought of having to find other lots to build the 100K House on is not something I like to think about. I am officially putting these negative thoughts behind me and kicking the team into high gear to schedule the construction, cut the remaining excess in the budget and get the 120K House material together to sell it in the next few weeks. It’s going to be a busy time for us here and our new video camera is in the mail to document the build in detail.
